History

The Rajanna Sircilla is newly carved Judicial District by the Hon’ble High Court for the State of Telangana on 02-06-2022 consisting Three District Courts, Two Senior Civil Judges Courts, and Three Junior Civil Judges Courts functioning in two locations one at Rajanna Sircilla as District headquarters and Vemulawada as its arm, having Thirteen police stations within its jurisdiction.

The main origin of Rajanna Sircilla is Sri Raja Rajeshwara Temple at Vemulawada which is popularly known as ‘Dakshina Kasi’ built from 750 to 973 AD by Raja Narendra and apart from having other popular temples. It is also to be more famous and called as Textile city where a number of people work on power looms, textile processing and dyeing units having its area as 2019sqkms with population of around 552037, two Municipalities, 171 villages with literacy rate of 62.71%.
